DMA is delighted to be hosting the second UK-Madagascar Trade & Investment Forum in September 2017 to coincide with the 200 year British-Malagasy anniversary and the official re-opening of the Malagasy Embassy in London.
As one of Africa’s last true frontier markets, Madagascar has enormous potential particularly in agriculture, energy, mining and tourism. This was echoed by the IMF in March 2017, who stated that growth in Madagascar is projected to reach 4.3% this year, and that inflation is set to be contained at 7.7%.
HE Hery Rajaonarimampianina, President of the Republic of Madagascar, will lead a delegation of cabinet ministers as he and his government present their priority investment programme to investors and continue to build on the outreach and engagement with the international business community that they began in London in 2015. The programme for the day can be viewed here.
Attendance at the event is by invitation only and can only be permitted if you have pre-registered with DMA and received a confirmation email via Eventbrite. To register for this event, please follow the link here.
